Bandar Country Homes, Rawang, Selangor, Malaysia – Prior to installing Voda Rainwater Storage System, this home was facing a 2-3 days weekly water cuts in March/April 2014.
The water shortage severity then was to the extent where homeowners were advised against using water hose for heavy duty cleaning.
Being a cleanliness-conscious household, the family couldn’t bear leaving the porch floor dirty and saw rain harvesting as a viable option.
Despite her home being a terrace unit with limited space, the Voda team managed to equip her porch rain harvesting capabilities thanks to Voda’s slim body and dimension. Aside from its usual wall mounted installation mode, Voda can also be seated on the ground & elevated slightly from the ground for a more favourable water pressure (as shown in photo).
Voda now helps secure the family’s garden and porch washing needs every time it rains.
Because of Voda’s effectiveness in conserving water, the family also opted for a second system for toilet flushing.
